Nimdzi partnered with the Finnish Language Service Providers (SKY) to perform an in-depth analysis of the language services market in Finland. The goal of Sky is to increase the impact of the language services industry, both in Finland and abroad. SKY aims to develop the language industry and its activities together with their member companies and partners. They advise and provide training for their members, issue statements related to the language industry, and develop operational prerequisites of their members and of the entire language industry.
Lenguas is an international forum for translators and interpreters organized by InterpretAmerica and the Italia Morayta Foundation. At the 2019 conference in New Mexico, Nimdzi’s CEO, Renato Beninatto hosted two workshops: “Moments of Change, Opportunities for Growth” and “From Family Company to Global Enterprise: Meaningful Growth of your Language Services Business.” Nimdzi Managing Director, Tucker Johnson, also hosted a workshop titled “Project Management: Not for the Faint of Heart.”
The ATC Survey and Report sheds light on UK’s language service provider scene. The global language services market grew to GBP 35 billion in 2018. At the top end, companies in the Nimdzi Global Top 100 grew at a rate of 17 percent. In the UK, the top 25 language service companies grew at an astonishing 40 percent year over year. On the whole, the average ATC UK Language Industry Survey respondent company grew at a rate of 13 percent.
